What is it that makes us keep our faith to ourselves, the single most important meaning to our lives? Should we not stand up and be proud of our Faith in Christ? It is not a sin to boast in the Lord; boasting of His great attributes, boasting of what He has done for us, of what He is still doing and of what He has promised to do.
Do we fear what others think when speaking of Christ? Yes there are many denominational differences but, as the Apostle Paul states “I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.” (1 Corinthians 1:10)
Have the many false Prophets of today made us apprehensive to speak about our faith freely? Those who profess a false doctrine are teaching human elements of religious works to Christ’s finished work on the cross as necessary ingredients for salvation. We as Christians know this is sinful, yet we do not speak up! As followers of Christ, we have no excuse for remaining ignorant of the Holy Bible scriptures, we have the “whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27) available to us—the Bible is complete.
The Colorado EXO Project entire reason for existence is to promote the word of God through the scriptures of the Holy Bible. So I say to you RISE UP! Boasting in the Lord is actually boasting of the Lord—boasting of His righteousness, what He has done for us, of what He is still doing and of what He has promised to do. As Jeremiah 9:23-24 says, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight,’ declares the LORD.”
